- Lid
- Closing it after every bath keeps the water clean and the heat in for longer.
- Water
- To be renewed regularly; more often without filtration. Draining must be possible where the tub stands.
- Wood
- Cleaning with clean water and a treatment suited to the species; composite needs less treatment.
- Stove
- Ashes removed once the stove is cold; chimney checked.
- Winter
- A full tub that freezes can be damaged: drain it, clean it, close it.
- Lid
- Closed between sessions, it protects the water from leaves, dust and sun.
- Water
- To be renewed; filtration, optional, helps keep it clean for longer.
- Chiller
- Not included as standard. If chosen, its upkeep follows the manufacturer’s manual, still to be confirmed for this model.
- Winter
- As with a hot tub, avoid leaving a full tub to freeze.
- Ventilation
- Airing after each session lets the wood dry and limits trapped moisture.
- Benches and walls
- A slightly damp cloth is enough; harsh products are best avoided on heated wood.
- Heater
- Care according to the heater’s manual. The electrical connection remains a job for a qualified electrician.
- Exterior
- Wood exposed to the weather: cleaning and surface treatment suited to the species; glazing cleaned with clean water.
